English is the best platform for the communication between Chinese and Western cultures and a convenient channel for college students to integrate into the internationalization. In order to respond to the school's "International opening Project", expand the international vision of teachers and students, build an English information sharing and communication space, and cultivate a batch of talents who can integrate into the internationalization quickly and adapt to the international competition, the study has decided to recruit students for the "Yale School" and "Yale Lecture" of Jiangsu University in the second half of 2020. The relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows:

Yale school :(for undergraduates)

Content: Discuss international topics of interest to college students.

Learning objective: To broaden international vision and improve English reporting and presentation skills.

Yale lecture theatre :(for graduate students)

Content: Discuss international topics of interest to graduate students.

Study: Improve international communication.

3. Training methods

1. Adopt flipped classroom and teacher-student interactive teaching.

2. Establish WeChat group of course participants and carry out cross-cultural activities.

Iv. Time and place of training

Time: Week 7 - Week 12

Starting date: Oct. 19 (6:00-7:30 every Monday night in Yale Hall and 6:00-7:30 every Friday night in Yale Lecture Hall) for 6 weeks.

Venue: Lecture Hall 105, First floor, Library

Five, the enrollment target

All undergraduate and graduate students in Jiangsu University

Vi. Admission requirements

Have a strong interest in English and aspire to further study or study abroad.

Vii. Registration method

1. Send your name, gender, class, student number, cell phone number, and indicate the class (Yale Hall or Yale Lecture hall) to the student Affairs office of THE College of Overseas Education email oecstudent@ujs.edu.cn. The college will make the choice.

2. Deadline for registration: October 2

3. Number limit: 5 students for Yale University (undergraduates) and 10 students for Yale University (graduate students)
