Since the launch of the Program of Teaching quality and teaching reform in English for students studying in China, the College of Overseas Education has been continuously deepening all kinds of teaching reform and actively carrying out all kinds of teaching construction, especially vigorously promoting the construction of online courses during the anti-epidemic period. In the process of the establishment of a high-level, distinctive and international research university by the University's Party Congress, under the care and support of the university's Party and government leaders and the wise guidance of the Overseas Education Institute, all the specialized schools teaching in English actively promote the revision of the major training programs, and the construction of high-quality courses and textbooks is in full swing. Over the years, the Overseas Education Institute has been committed to the selection and construction of national brand courses and provincial quality courses, university-level quality courses, as well as the mid-term assessment and final assessment, in order to promote the improvement and construction by assessment. Since 2011, the College of Overseas Education has constructed 67 university-level quality courses and 25 university-level cultivation courses. The accumulative total number of high-quality goods and cultivation courses ranks the first in Jiangsu Province. In 2013, one course was awarded the first batch of brand Courses taught in English by the Ministry of Education, and in 2016, another three courses were awarded the second batch of brand courses taught in English by the Ministry of Education.
