English is the best platform for the communication between Chinese and Western cultures and a convenient channel for college students to integrate into the internationalization. In order to respond to the school's "International opening Project", expand the international vision of teachers and students, build an English information sharing and communication space, and cultivate a number of talents who can quickly integrate into the internationalization and adapt to the international competition, the study has decided to recruit students for the "Yale School" and "Yale Lecture" of Jiangsu University in the first half of 2020. The relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows:

Yale school :(for undergraduates)

Content: Discuss international topics of interest to college students.

Learning objective: To broaden international vision and improve English reporting and presentation skills.

Yale lecture theatre :(for graduate students)

Content: Discuss international topics of interest to graduate students.

Study: Improve international communication.

3. Training methods

1. Yale School: Flipped classroom or teacher-student interactive teaching is adopted.

2. Set up QQ groups, WeChat groups and English salons for course students to extend classroom learning to extracurricular activities.

Iv. Time and place of training

Time: May 12th. (Yale Hall is divided into two classes. Class time is from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Yale Lecture Hall runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays for 5 weeks.

All undergraduate and graduate students in Jiangsu University

Vi. Admission requirements

Have a strong interest in English and aspire to further study or study abroad;

Vii. Registration method

1. Send name, gender, class, student number, mobile phone number, and indicate the class (Yale School or Yale Lecture Hall) reported to the instructor. The counselors shall report to Shen Jiayi of the Student Affairs Office before 10:00 am on April 30. The final list will be determined according to the order of registration.

2. Registration deadline: 8:00 am, April 30

3. Number limit: 10 students for Yale College (undergraduates) and 10 students for Yale Lecture Hall (graduate students)

Yale College and Yale Lecture Hall are both free courses.
